The Samsung Intrepid is a Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional smartphone with a QVGA touch screen and full QWERTY keyboard. It sports a BlackBerry-like form factor that's well suited to serious email and messaging on the go. The 2.5", 320 x 240 pixel touch screen is a bit small for the refreshed Windows Mobile 6.5 UI, but it's decently usable. The Intrepid is a practical business phone more than a sexy touch screen marvel.

The Intrepid is a Sprint CDMA phone with EV-DO Rev. A and it has a SIM card slot for world roaming on GSM networks overseas (it won't work on AT&T and T-Mobile in the US). It has a GPS with Sprint Navigation, Bluetooth, WiFi, a 3 megapixel camera and a microSD card slot. It supports all of Sprint's multimedia services including Sprint TV, NASCAR Sprint Cup and NFL Mobile. Since it runs Windows Mobile, it's works very well with MS Exchange and supports Direct Push email with Exchange. It also has IM and text messaging applications.

Display: 65K color TFT color touch screen. Screen size diagonally: 2.5". Resolution: QVGA 240 x 320 pixels.

Battery: Lithium Ion rechargeable. Battery is user replaceable. 1480 mA.

Performance: Qualcomm MSM7600 528MHz processor. 256 RAM. 512 MB Flash ROM.

Size: 4.6 x 2.59 x 0.51 inches. Weight: 4.0 ounces.

Phone: CDMA dual band digital with EV-DO Rev. A and 1xRTT. GSM quad band for world roaming.

Camera: 3.0 megapixel camera that can take photos and video.

GPS: Has GPS that works with Sprint Navigation.

Audio: Built in speaker, mic and 3.5mm standard stereo headphone jack. Voice Recorder and Windows Pocket Media Player 10 included for your MP3 pleasure.

Networking: Integrated WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth with A2DP stereo profile.

Software: Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional. Sprint Navigation, Sprint TV, Sprint Music, NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile and NFL Mobile. Email, IM, Voice Command, Adobe Reader LE, msuic player, video player, IE Mobile, MS Office Mobile and PIM applications that mirror MS Outlook.
